| Project No: | P517211 | | Name: | Central African Republic Contingent Emergency Response Project (CERP) | | Description: | This project enables the Central African Republic to rapidly access funds in the event of an eligible crisis or emergency — such as a natural disaster, health emergency, or conflict. Once an eligible emergency is declared, the government prepares a Crisis Response Plan and can begin disbursing funds to finance: a) emergency livelihood support to households; b) provision of essential emergency supplies and services; and c) emergency response coordination and management. The project has a national scope, with exact beneficiaries to be defined in the Crisis Response Plan based on the nature of the emergency and the geographical spread of its impacts. Beneficiaries will include the affected population at large, with particular attention to vulnerable groups such as women, children, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and forcibly displaced people, who will receive targeted support to ensure their safety and resilience during and after crises. * | | Company: | Unite de Gestion du Projet des Villes Inclusive et Résilientes (UGP PROVIR) | | Funding: | World Bank | | Closing Date: | 18 Jun 2026 |
